We accept bookings from our customers under the following terms and conditions. Therefore, we would like to kindly request our customers to follow these terms and conditions carefully before proceeding to book trekking, tours, mountain climbing, peak climbing or any other activities to avoid future disputes.
In order to book any trip with Nepal Mountain Trekkers, customers are required to provide us with scanned copies of their passports and at least 25% of the total trip cost as an advance deposit. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. Whereas, you can pay the balance on arrival in Kathmandu before proceeding with the journey or you can pay the lump sum as per your convenience.
Mode of Payment You can pay through cards, we accept VISA, MasterCard, JCT, UniPay and SCT but the bank will charge 3.75% service charge on top of your total amount when paying through cards. And although online payment sources like PayPal are not valid in Nepal and you cannot pay online while in Nepal, we have agents in the US so you can pay via PayPal.
You can also pay through bank deposit, whichever suits you best. Please note that the bank may charge internal service charges so we strongly advise our clients to pay to ensure that our company receives the full amount of travel costs.
Cancellation by the customer
In order to cancel the trip, the customer has to provide pure Sherpa Adventure with genuine reasons including justification one month before the trip departure date. However, 10% of the travel cost will be charged as cancellation cost in such cases.
Also, if customers fail to notify us one month in advance, the trip can be canceled up to 20 days before the trip departure date, with an additional payment of 20% of the total trip cost as cancellation charges. Otherwise, we will not be liable to refund the payment as the customer’s deposit will have already been used for arranging accommodation, guides and other services.
Canceled by Pure Sherpa Adventure
In case of uncontrollable factors like major natural calamities, severe political instability, our company pure Sherpa Adventure reserves the right to cancel the trip with prior notice to the customers. In this case, customers will be requested to wait and postpone their trek or be provided with another journey of the same cost so that our customers’ payments are not wasted.
Trip change or termination due to reasons beyond control If customers want to make any change in the trip such as postponing the date of the trip or change in the itinerary as well as change the entire trip with another one for any reason with genuine rationale then with prior notice one week before the trip.
Departure date, they can proceed for it. Please note that when alternating a trip with another trip, you may need to pay more for a trip with a higher cost than the amount of the trip booked.
Last minute booking pure Sherpa Adventure also offers last-minute booking facility to our customers, which means you can book a trip up to a week before the trip departure date. But it may not be acceptable in all treks and mountain climbs.
Child Policy In the case of child passengers, the responsibility will be that of their parents, not our company. And though there is no charge for the trek, there will be a charge for flight tickets etc. for children above 5 years of age.
For people with disabilities, we Nepal Mountain makes it easy for them to travel comfortably and safely and without any risk. Also, if a disabled person wants to cancel their trip for special reasons, no cancellation fee will be charged and they will get a full refund. But for that we need to provide us with your necessary documents as evidence.
EARLY REFUND POLICY / INCOMPLETE TOURS Pure Sherpa Adventure will not be responsible for refunding any amount of your trip cost if you are on the trip you have booked and need to end your trip for any reason or return home early. But in case of any such problems from our side we will be ready to refund the remaining amount.
Travel postponed Customers must inform Pure Sherpa Adventures 10 days prior to the tour departure date if they have to postpone their trip for any reason. If you fail to notify us 10 days prior to trip departure, you will be charged an additional 20% of the trip cost for postponing the trip.
Whereas, pure Sherpa Adventure reserves the right to postpone the trip with prior notice to the customer in case of reasons beyond its control such as major natural calamities, severe political instability and unconditional weather so as to avoid unnecessary risks during the trip.
To prevent health risks to you during travel. Whereas, certain journeys are unfavorable for some people due to age, pregnancy, physical or mental disorders and similar factors.
Revisions We may also revise and update our terms and conditions at any time if the government of Nepal changes its tourism policy. We will not be responsible for not alerting customers to changes and it is requested that our customers keep updated with any changes to these terms and conditions.
