Pure Sherpa Adventure was founded in 2008 by a team of passionate Sherpas who grew up in the shadow of the world's greatest mountains. What began as a small guiding outfit in Kathmandu has grown into one of Nepal's most trusted adventure travel companies — yet our values remain unchanged.
We believe that the best guides are not those who simply know the trails, but those who were raised by them. Every member of our core team is Sherpa-born, carrying generations of mountain knowledge, cultural wisdom, and an unshakeable duty of care.
Who We Are
We are a family of trekkers, climbers, naturalists, and storytellers united by one purpose: to share the Himalaya with travellers from around the world in a way that is safe, responsible, and deeply authentic.
Our groups are deliberately small. We move at a human pace. We sleep in local teahouses, eat dal bhat beside our guests, and celebrate every summit — however modest — with equal joy.
